[How-To] Getting new mirrors.
« on: 02. November 2012, 02:02:07 »
Some people still ask me how I got 5 mirrors in one week before 0.8.0 came out. It is simple. Just write 100 mails to universities and companies supporting Linux. Go to Archlinux and grap their mirrorlist. Crawl thru their servers and get their contact data. Write an email and see what response you get. For further information about how to help us out, please read our Wiki about Manjaro-Mirrors. It is also good to subscribe our mailing list.

I'd like to offer another mirror:
100 Mbit, located at Germany (Hetzner data center), updated every 12h (6am/6pm).

Could you please add the IP (188.40.142.195) to your rsync whitelist?

Going to do a research here which universities and companies could come to provide (as many do, especially TUs, for other distros, as i remember), and make contacts where ever possible
