Is it easy to create a manjaro remaster?
« on: 19. August 2013, 18:06:18 »
Hi, I am a linux noob,
I enjoy making remasters, but only can do this if the distro has a simple remastering script.
I been considering making a manjaro e17 version, preferably smaller in size than the current community e17.
Thanks in advance for any help and advice offered.

Hi Agust, and thanks, :) people on the irc chat channel and here seem quite friendly.
Remastering looks a bit complicated, but I did try out the original manjaro e17, it was good but didn't have the extra modules, I don't know if later versions do, I was put off trying those iso's as was hoping one day to make a manjaro e17 of my own and smaller in size iso.
Best wishes,
OnlyHuman

Hi,

Not really, but after some days/trials:

Not so bad, for my little "netbook"

A +

Ps: it's easier with remastersys "offline" under debian/ubuntu.
