Create a .desktop file for the app with the correct details and it should work. I've never used whisker but it should work.

http://wiki.xfce.org/howto/customize-menu
http://askubuntu.com/questions/76042/how-can-i-add-items-to-xfce-root-menu

Thanks. That did it. In case anyone finds it useful I am writing the steps here:

* Right click in the desktop and select Create Launcher
* Fill the required fields and the .desktop file is ready. Especially for wine programs in the Command field enter
Code: [Select]
env WINEPREFIX="/home/<user name>/.wine" wine "/home/<user name>/.wine/drive_c/<path to application>/<executable>.exe"* I didn't want to mess with moving menu files in my home dir etc. so I moved that file directly to /usr/share/applications
Code: [Select]
sudo mv /home/<user name>/Desktop/<file name>.desktop /usr/share/applications/* In the whiskers menu select category All and it will be listed there.
Nothing to see here...

Is it possible to add custom application launchers to favorites? I have a Windows app that I just dragged and dropped in my wine folder so no automatic icons in the menu. I made a shortcut for it in the Xfce Desktop but I don't like it there. I want it in the menu to keep my desktop tidy.

You could use lxmed (LXDE menu editor - don't let the name fool you, it works in many DEs) - install it if you don't have it and you can edit and create menu entries.

The Whisker Menu makes Manjaro Xfce much more usable. Thank you for the addition!

Install the git version (xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin-git) and it will be xfce4-popup-whiskermenu in /usr/bin

Thanks for this! :)
