What's the story this time?

Do we still have to go through a manual setup of ALSA to avoid systemd crap?

The Monitor speakers are not shown as an option for the Port setting of the Output Device tab of the Volume Control applet.

Ok, I solved it.

I did not notice the extra tabs of the Volume Control (pavucontrol) applet.

I've found the Configuration tab and made the appropriate change and now I have sound through the monitor.
