PKGBUILD - cannot make package
« on: 25. November 2016, 16:04:07 »
Hi :)

I am trying to make package https://github.com/manjaro/packages-extra/tree/master/lightdm-gtk-greeter with :

$makepkg -s PKGBUILD

but I get this thrown into console :

error: target not found: gobject-introspection
==> ERROR: 'pacman' failed to install missing dependencies.

So my question is ... what causes the issue and how to make the package?

Thanks

It looks like you are missing the package "gobject-introspection".
Install that package "pacman -S gobject-introspection" and then try building lightdm-gtk-greeter.

Best regards.
