intel config is in /ect/X11/mhwd.d/intel.conf
in /etc/nvidia.conf  mayby i dont know

to run nvidia-settings need optirun and some parameters

Hey! This post was really helpful on how to change the free bumblebee driver to non-free, so thanks!
However it seems like some application/game does not take advantega of my nVidia card. I've run steam with primusrun, but games being launched from steam doesn't seemed to use the discrete grafcard.
Can someone help me on how to use the " primusrun %command% " inside steam which can be found in the wiki? Or how to configure nvidia-setting to performe better with bumblebee?

Or is there a way to turn of the integrated card and use the nVidia only right from boot?

I'm super new to Manjaro, and pretty much to Linux.

In the terminal for running steam with your GPU
Code: [Select]
optirun -b primus /usr/bin/steam %U

or you can add
Code: [Select]
optirun -b primus
in the shortcut at the command line

Unlike Zeni, I would like to turn off my Nvidia video card and use only my integrated Intel card. When I'm watching movies, there is a very small (almost unobservable) tearing of the image - especially those in motion, not the static ones. Occasionally (once in 1-2 months), there is some lag, but I solve this problem by changing the kernel. In Ubuntu derivatives I don't have these problems. Also, in Ubuntu derivatives (Zorin and Mint), the OS is using the Intel card by default and the movie quality is better than when using the Nvidia card.
A month ago, I uninstalled bumblebee and installed video-intel and video-nvidia, and broke my system, this way. Could I change the video driver safely?
Thanks a lot.

Hi, I'm new to Manjaro, I have nvidia GeForce GT 630M, I install driver 361,42 and execute command:
Code: [Select]
sudo systemctl status bumblebeed.service
[sudo] hasło użytkownika przemek:
● bumblebeed.service - Bumblebee C Daemon
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/bumblebeed.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
Active: active (running) since pon 2016-04-25 11:04:12 CEST; 36s ago
 Main PID: 505 (bumblebeed)
    Tasks: 1 (limit: 512)
   CGroup: /system.slice/bumblebeed.service
           └─505 /usr/bin/bumblebeed

kwi 25 11:04:12 przemek-toshiba systemd[1]: Started Bumblebee C Daemon.
kwi 25 11:04:12 przemek-toshiba bumblebeed[505]: [    4.134994] [INFO]/usr/bin/bumblebeed 3.2.1 started
but everytime when I start nvidia-settings I have info: "You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver.  Please edit your X configuration file (just run `nvidia-xconfig` as root), and restart the X server."
when I type in terminal "nvidia-xconfig" after reboot system run with low graphic mode and I have to delete xorg.conf file. Can anyone help me ?
