Manjaro i3 fantastic!
« on: 26. April 2016, 12:49:09 »

I've been using OpenSUSE, Fedora, Arch, Gentoo with KDE, Xfce and Gnome. I really like both Gentoo and Arch, however none of the DEs corresponded with my workflow. While searching for an alternative I have found Manjaro i3 (have tried Manjaro Xfce before).
I have to say I am at home now. Manjaro itself is close enough to Arch for me while adding some useful features. The real deal here is the i3 spin - what a little gem! Very beautiful design, excellent configuration and good selection of default apps and utilities.
Let me say thank you for such a fantastic job!

Thank you very much @rani and welcome! ^-^
And I know what you're talking about! ;) Cinnamon, Deepin and Xfce are all on my computer, too, but you will always find me doing my stuff on the i3 desktop :D For me this WM is just ideal and I love it to bits... :-[ ;D
manjaro is addictive ::)

Frankly, I do not use that much the tiling feature, except for terminal windows. I usually have one app window per workspace. Nevertheless the shortcuts and easy customization make i3 almost perfect for me :-)
