Yes, confirming that. The scrollbar issue in Firefox is only party solved in the original Vertex theme. So there's hope that once this is properly fixed it will also work for light...

well... just thought I'd chime in and get in on all the action, how could anyone resist right? first off, I'd like to thank this thread for thoroughly scaring the pooh out of me. in the end this update was really harmless for me. it gave me a chance to switch up some stylistic elements & minimize my system's installed packages. awesome keyboard-shortcut-fix for palemoon, yay! loving the vertex theme. thanks gang... for the clear caveats and the seething edge progression. you're the man... jaro!

nixote is an AUR package. You should maybe rebuild it when there are library errors.
Also make sure that you have opencv installed - maybe reinstall that one...

Ever since I installed this update tuxguitar won't start anymore. It just hangs on the splash screen consuming 100% from one core forever. Doesn't output any errors into the terminal or any log I know of either, so I don't really have a clue about what's happening.
Nevertheless I'm highly suspicious it's due to the latest JRE update. I'll probably try and downgrade it later, even though I know I probably shouldn't.

Little update on themes: I had to switch from Numix Frost to standard Numix, that's all :)

In case that you do not like Vertex-Maia or you want to try something else, with GTK 3.20 support, there is also the Arc theme.
https://github.com/horst3180/Arc-theme
available via pacman:
Code: [Select]
arc-themes

This virtual machine is a replica of my laptop, and I don't want to update the latter because others had this issue on a non-vm as well.

Can anyone from the team at least say if this is going to be solved in the next update?
Hi,

Yup, X seems broken under virtualbox currently (at least on OpenRC).
https://forum.manjaro.org/index.php?topic=33422.0;

Most people have reported that it works on bare metal.

I also have Arch vm, and X broke there too.
As for the bare metal, you're probably right, but I prefer to be on the safe side. There was one guy who reported trouble on regular laptop, so, I'll wait for the next update to see.

Numix Frost (in AUR) was just updated, and it seems all works fine now.

I can also confirm that X is broken for my VirtualBox Manjaro.

I have tried a fresh install on a new VirtualBox machine, and after I updated my packages, I'm still getting this error.

UPD:

For anyone interested: solution is here https://forum.manjaro.org/index.php?topic=33422.45
