Chrome because it syncs with my other devices and it seems faster and smoother than Firefox these days.

@AlleyCat: You can add extensions such as AdBlock Pro, Privacy Badger, etc. to Vivaldi, which I'm using these days more than Firefox or Chrome.  :)

I use Vivaldi on Mint, Midori on Bodhi and Iceweasel on Exe/Gnu Linux (based on Devuan).
Full time GNU/Linux user since 2003, prior to that was duel booting Windows (98) and GNU/Linux (Mandrake).

How safe is a closed source browser??
I was thinking about experimenting Vivaldi, but the fact that's not open source turns me down.

I can't vote for lack of option.....I use Slimjet as default because it does whatever I require. :)
I also have Qupzilla 2 and Palemoon installed just to have alternatives. ;)

Best regards.

Considering it is developed by a former opera developer I think security is a part of the browser

Default: Palemoon as a relatively lightweight alternative to Firefox (uses less RAM and starts faster).
Also, Opera, for "just in case"  reasons.
And Vivaldi for testing (for now, because i used good old Opera)

It's seem that chromium is not google free the way we think. cf this guy : https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=198763 who made a good chromium patched on AUR.

Also i use Firefox or Icecat and sometime Inox for pepperflash when i can't use youtube-dl
