off the topic, it's really bad idea to use ntfs partition for /home
1. ntfs driver is very resource consuming and slow on linux
2. ntfs is prone to fragmentation, and makes case 1 even worse.
3. you can;t set permissions on individual files/folders. May create problems with recycle bin feature. And a few more complications i don;t remember now.
Since all user configs are in your /home, it will only slow your linux down. Use a native filesystem like xfs or ext4 for best results.

Wujuuu Thanks!!! It works, and probably it will help me fix other issues too, great!!

Off topic: damn, I didn't know about those issues, /home partition is shared with Windows, tha'ts why it is ntfs, I'll probably try to change it, as long as Windows reads it and doesn't have much issues with it. Thanks for the warning

you can install ext2fsd , tiny program, sits quitely in your systray, mounts the ext2/3/4 partitions on windows. But use it in read-only mode, write isn;t very reliable and may corrupt your filesystem.
