Cranky internet
« on: 14. April 2016, 23:01:03 »
Whenever I login to the Manjaro Gnome desktop, my wired internet works for a little bit, and then stops working for about 2-4 minutes, and then starts working again. I don't see any disconnection icon when that happens. This internet problem is only experienced when I start the Gnome Desktop. I used to not have this problem, but this has started happening for the last couple of months now. Any ideas?

Try updating to the latest stable Long Term Support kernel and if that doesn't work, to the latest available kernel. It could be a driver issue with the networking electronics inside your computer.

I see that you run kernel 4.2. I'd say try kernel 4.4 first and if that doesn't work, try 4.6.
