Developerzy Linux ROSA R7 byli na tyle inteligentni, że nie dołączyli do wersji  KDE kdewallet. Dlatego pożegnałem się z Manjaro KDE.

Developers of Linux  ROSA R7 were intelligent enough that they do not join to the  KDE version kdewallet. So I said goodbye to the Manjaro KDE.

When you launch krunner, and if you save something on the desktop, the text for example favorites, application, computer, and so on becomes unreadable. Also VLC media player doesn't work. Also it doesn't remember the dual screen set up after a restart. This doesn't happen all the time though.

I need to modify this. Dual screen doesn't save the default settings at all. You need to set the dual screen every time you reboot.

I downloaded the XFCE pre release and installed it on the laptop I use at work solely for internet radio. It was running the  15.12 before and i wanted try out the new pre release  and it installed very easily but after I started using it crashed twice. It seemed to happen whenever the display went off so I ended changing the power settings it seemed to resolve the issue. I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Since Manjaro 0.8, the SO says my bluetooth doesn't exist  :(
Network Card: Intel Wifi Link 5100 AGN
The wifi works fine, but the bluetooth is dead.

Could it be a problem with the Manjaro's hardware detection tool?

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -S bluez-hid2hci& reboot
this helped me

THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN!! hahah it worked \o/

Now just one issue to go: Suspend the SO when I close my notebook, it's turning the display off only when the suspend is marked in the energy options. The lock screen option works fine, and the others too, but the suspend option just dont =/

@PhilM: The ISO offers a choice of three installers. Which is the one you most want evaluated?

Here are some notes and suggestions based upon a skim of the LiveISO environment. They mostly deal with the default theme and icons:

+ nice plymouth splash
+ liveCD desktop
  + smart selection of icons
  + icon descriptions are cut-off
+ hexchat is a very nice touch
+ consider re-labeling to something like "talk to us over IRC"
+ For the third installer icon on the desktop, when single-clicking
the icon to see the entire description text, the description
cut-off by the xfce task bar.
+ re-order the icons to put the installers first and trash /
filesystem either last, or not present at all.
+ manjaro welcome
+ the install options (thus, calmares and cli) should have some
description explaining how they are different, and for whom each
    is best suited.
+ Possibly have a single 'install' option on the main welcome page,
leading to a page explaining the install options.
+ theme
  + xfce whisker menu
+ Personal prejudice: I dislike white or bright backgrounds.
+ consider replacing the white background with manjaro's signature
      green one.
+ When the un-selected background would be green, eg. the left
panel, consider setting a selected item's background to
      manjaro's grey color.
+ Simpler: set the left panel grey, same as the right one, and set
the selected background for the right panel from white to
      manjaro green.
+ cases of invisible white icons on white background
      + Accessories > Bulk rename
+ Other > VMware User Agent
      + Office > dictionary
  + xfce4-appearance-settings
+ The panel itself is a great example of too much white in the
      theme.
+ there is only one dark theme in the default selections
  + window icons
+ the window roll-up button, on the right side of windows' title
bar, does not turn visibly distinct, ie green, upon hover.
+ the window manipulation menu button, on the left side of
windows' title bar, does not turn visibly distinct, ie green,
      upon hover.
  + thunar
+ icons for 'trash' and filesystem volumes are white instead of
green. In the default theme, with its white background, these
icons, being primarily white, are not very visible.
+ icons on the toolbar are too white, and do not turn green or
      show green highlights on hover.

I've noticed some icons are missing, like the one of settings in the whisker menu (maia icons theme)

And another "bug": I prefer the panel at the top, so when I open thunar in full screen and start typing some thing to search, the search box at the bottom is half hidden. When the panel is at the bottom the search box cover the panel.

Thats all for now xD

@Manjaro16: It would be easier if you generate an openrc image yourself with manjaro-tools v0.11.4-1 or higher:

Woah, looks quite possible at my level to do it. Tahnks @philm for the info!

I like this pre2  8)

I love the forest/mountains wall! (could this be default?)

Very nice theme  8)

minor points;
 1) network icon is default...should it not be themed?
 2) Education category - is this needed?

keep up the great work! ;)

I have started having problems with Flash when streaming radio stations specifically ESPN radio. I have had issues from both Firefox and Chrome. What happens ESPN will play for awhile then all of sudden the screen will go blank. I have issues with ESPN on Windows from time to time but it doesn't happen everyday. I recently installed chrome and tried it with the native client and with flash. Same thing this is not a deal breaker but I thought it something that I should mention. Also the machine I'm using previously had 15.12 and this was not an issue. This is XFCE pre-release
Edit: I think the latest update resolved my issue. Today after rebooting my machine I had absolutely no problems streaming radio stations

Vmware 12 doesn't work on this(xfce). It won't start and running via termial would return nothing.

EDIT:
Seems like the version I have(VMware 12 build-2985596) isn't compatible with linux kernel 4.4.6-1

It works on linux kernel 3.18.30-1. Need to export LD_LIBRARY_PATH though.

drop qt4. I think it is time to use qt5. As far as I know only "manjaro-printer" package needs qt4 on the default install.
Find out why it needs qt4 and make it use qt5. That is what I wish for the next manjaro release. :)

I think it is because of hplip. Can we use hplip without the gui? I really did like to remove qt4

here is hplip without gui
