I see after Manjaro XFCE is this the most downloaded/popular Manjaro spin :)
Interesting

Interesting

KDE still has more downloads than this has, but yes. It is very popular!
If only people would support/seed the torrents a bit more. :P

Haha I see!
I am super tempted to install Manjaro KDE and Manjaro Gnome when it's released in June :D
Both look insane!

@Esclapion What's news with the LXDE development roadmap? Last time I heard LXQt and LXDE were suppose to merge and only work on LXQt?

True, but i'm always surprised by the number of people interested by Lxde. So, i produce from time to time one.

Else, lxqt is not known as replacement.

the team is not actively working on new features of lxde anymore, but there are still bug fixes from time to time.
after all, gtk2 is no longer developed, too. this means lxde just keeps running...

If only people would support/seed the torrents a bit more. :P

I seed them when I find working torrents of the interesting releases.  They seem to be housed all over, and oftentimes they go poof after a time as the servers go unresponsive & such.  Had 6 recently seeded from SourceForce references, and I looked today after reading your comment, and all were "tracker returned error; connection failed"

I only check them every month or so and try to reseed when the old trackers appear stale or remove when no longer d/loaded.

The 2 torrents at 16.4 (lxqt & e20) show fine at:
udp://mirror.strits.dk:6969

The prior set - pre-16.4 (Fluxbox, xfce, lxqt, i3, cinnamon) - housed at:
udp://212.10.37.247:6969
...but those return:   "tracker not available" ...still have them running just in case.

Before that, there were a few locations, and pseudo-settled on sourceforge, or so I thought I understood.

Sorry, not to annoy/quibble with people... Just adding seeding support when I catch new ones. Doesn't take up too much bandwidth here, but it's not been overly stable over the past couple years, but whatever.  I'm fine seeding a few popular ones, plus my favorites (Fluxbox, currently) on a tiny host/server.
