@george.sterpu, try
Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Sy --force python-pip
If that doesn't work, what does
Code: [Select]
pacman -Qo /usr/lib/python3.5/site-packages/pip/say?

Thanks oberon, it works :D
Code: [Select]
$ sudo pacman -Qo /usr/lib/python3.5/site-packages/pip/
/usr/lib/python3.5/site-packages/pip/ is owned by python-pip 7.1.2-2
$ sudo pacman -Sy --force python-pip
(1/1) upgrading python-pip                         [######################] 100%
$ sudo pacman -Qo /usr/lib/python3.5/site-packages/pip/
/usr/lib/python3.5/site-packages/pip/ is owned by python-pip 8.0.2-1
Never had conflicting files before, so TIL what is the --force option useful for.

I have a really weird issue, on Cinnamon 2.8.6 and Pamac 2.4.3-5, when the notification about updates being available comes up it goes in the notification tray like it should. But when I hit "Clear Notifications", pamac updater opens up. I have restarted Cinnamon and restarted my computer after the update. Still acts the same.

Hi,

gnome-shell is crashing whenever I activate a VPN:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=760924

https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/gnome-shell&id=715a967d2647c11e05fe31ff15d01d5003c8caee

Could you please pull in the latest gnome-shell update.

EDIT: I just saw the update is already in testing...

If you want you can move to 4.4 from manjaro-settings-manager/kernel.

Well, I'm back to my reboot loop that started after the last big update. I never reach the login manager (SDDM). I edited GRUB, added a "3" to the line that started with "Linux" to get to run level 3. I enabled and restarted SDDM and it worked for almost two weeks. This update, it's back, and editing GRUB no longer works.

Any suggestions?

Addendum: this time around I tried something different and it worked. Not sure which one did it, but maybe this will help someone else.

01. Edited GRUB to get to run level 3.
02. sudo systemctl disable sddm
03. # systemctl enable sddm -f
04. # systemctl enable sddm.service
05. # systemctl start sddm

I'm in.

Everything ok, the nvidia driver seems to be an older release but I guess the manjaro people is waiting for the next stable driver. I hope that will happen soon.

At last, able to move beyond kernel 4.1.1-1 after resolving catalyst driver issue.
