Ste74 you are a genius. Now, how do I make that permanent when I install it on the hard-drive?
A very good idea of Ste, indeed!
You can simply install and if it won't boot you will be able to boot into CLI and install the vesa driver and boot with it then. You will also be able to try to make either the free nouveau driver work or to install the non-free nvidia driver. There is some info about it on Manjaro Wiki: https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php?title=Manjaro_Hardware_Detection

;) no not genius  :) .. well you install normally now the system . when reboot you type click 'E' to edit grub entry ..
search the line with 'quiet splash' and delete this word and type xdriver=vesa then 'ctrl+x' or 'F10' ( read the help at the botton ) . when you entry in Budgie install all update and when finish open Manjaro Settings Manager and install the right driver for your gpu .. Then reboot and .. cross the finger  ;)

Yeah, but you gave some more detailed info.
But if writing xdriver=vesa doesn't work (because it might not have been installed), Zpfield can enter simply 3 and boot into CLI and then run mhdw like explaine in the Wiki.
