If you are experimenting, please try to get gnote to work completely.  Some of the functions are not working.  Even after manually downloading the 3 additional dependencies from the arch site, it still is not right.

Tomboy is a replacement, but it needs mono to work.  That is a lot of overhead for just one program.

And, please check the theme Windows10-Optimized-Green and see if it works for you.

on themes i need just a steady theme maintainance not sort of community stuf that goes dead end in a while !

i revert changed to standard, most comes from the two installers it seems that the iso is big..does not make sense afterall could be 0.1 smaller if put abiword and gnumeric but who want that :p

Apparently, it is very difficult to reduce the ISO size at this time.  It is almost impossible to get below 700 MB in order to fit on a CD.  Why worry about 0.1 MB? The people who use Cinnamon and Mate want top of the line applications.

was more thinking about a range 1.3gb -1.4gb but mainreason is two installers, removing MSM and Calamares would lighten te iso much.. but then you remove more manjaro specifik thinks.. :)

I do not think that you should worry about it until you get over 1.5 MB.

BTW, cinnamon is using 384 MB right now.  I have not seen it that high before this.  Restarting dropped it to 85 MB.

Lets see ~ On this computer I have 8GB of RAM Memory together with Intel Core i7-4790 processor & Samsung 850-EVO SSD.

In other words I have nearly unlimited resources.
