hi to all ..

 I am new to conky and I would need some help  :-[

I was using KDE Widgets( drag and drop .. (easy)) for monitoring stuff(disk,cpu,vga etc) but currently I have some issues with Plasma 5 widgets so I have to use Conky  :-[

So....
I am using this BG (it puts a smile on my face)
This is my second monitor not primary!

And I had my Plasma 5 widgets looking like this

And the whole desktop like this

I have tried some of the conky setups, some look ugly some not the right color , some out of the position etc so if anyone can do something pretty on this background I will really appreciate it  ^-^

Well, after the latest update, decided "what the hell, why not?" and made changes to my conky.

Here is what it now looks like:

Basically removed the core frequency displays and kept temps and percentages used.

And here is the code:

Code: [Select]
conky.config = {
background = true,
own_window = true,
own_window_transparent = true,
own_window_type = 'normal',
own_window_hints = 'undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager',

gap_x = 8,
gap_y = 10,
use_spacer = 'none',

Nothing fancy here, I'm just a new GNU/Linux user who enjoys simplicity. I am very pleased with what Manjaro's XFCE edition has to offer. I love how easy it was to make my Manjaro menu icon to look like the Italian flag <3.
It took me 2 days to get my conky to look like this, lol. I tried to show my network traffic (day, week, month, and yearly) but unfortunately vnstat does not have the yearly option.

My conky acted up after today's update. My text changed and I can'tchange in the .conkyrc file.
Any issues here?

Hi Oberon,
I beg your pardon, let me rephrase: The font changed from Cantarell to who knows what?

pacman -Q conky = conky 1.10.1-2

Damn, I do believe that is the best looking desktop I've ever seen around here.  And I haven't been too fond of most of the Manjaro wallpapers I've seen, but that one is excellent.  Conky looks great!
