Where do I set my default programs in Fluxbox?
« on: 05. January 2016, 00:58:26 »
Can't find that as a menu item. Is it a config file somewhere that I need to modify?

Thanks!
Len

Here are two options for setting up preferred programs. You can add them to /.fluxbox/menu file.
Code: [Select]
[exec] (Preferred Applications) {libfm-pref-apps}
  [exec] (Preferred Applications) {exo-preferred-applications}

Hi Len!
It's a config file, yes. Used by xdg-open: ~/.config/mimeapps.list :)

Ok. So {libfm-pref-apps} works in the default configuration of manjaro-fluxbox, but you can only use it for web-browser and mail-client.
{exo-preferred-applications} is more helpful, just in order to be able to use it you will have to install the package exo :)
