in this iso is present only free driver .. install with free driver and after use Manjaro setting manager gui to install .. This is a test iso so not all function is present .. If you check the livecd menu you not see the nonfree option to start  ;)

Please do not use EvoPop themes (Icons and GTK) for Budgie, they're currently unmantained :)

I have tried it in Japanese.

When I have to proceed with the installation, I encountered such a state.
It may be necessary to adjust the theme and setting.

What's actually the problem, it's just icons.

looks sleek :D the only downside imo is the lack of scale/expo but they'll fix that soon enough. Great work. Thanks!

Dunno if anyone else has this problem--and there is no way to Google it--all Budgie knowledge resides here or @ Solus...

The darn panel indicator icons in the upper RH corner tend to reset themselves back to an arrangement they like, rather than how I arrange them. Re-arranging works, but doesn't survive a logout/reboot. It's a minor, niggling thing, and I'm sure at some point Ikey will do something about it.

Does this behavior happen to other Budgie adopters?

In the meantime, it is an irritant and a stern glare does not seem to threaten them much...

Regards.

Yep, it's not half-bad for a brand new DE! I love Budgie. GNOME at half the calories. Ikey & Co.--and Stefano--have done a lot of good work here. :D

Last time I tried Budgie (a few month ago on Solus) the keyboard shortcuts didn't work at all, do they work now?
Thanks

So i have no wifi icon in panel.
I have one question - its normal to Budgie using 550+ RAM after system start with gnome-tracker disable ?

Hi!
After having burned *.iso with "dd" and booted, I installed Calamares 1.9.2.0.r183 (+ 30 packages - autom.), prepared partition (ext4) with GParted.
Installation : root partition, home partition shared with "old Manjaro Budgie" - but other username, Grub into system partition without a problem from USB2 to SSD: 4 minutes.
Main Grub (Manjaro Cin. / MATE) detected and run Manjaro Budgie 16.01.
Updates: 16 packages / 53 MB.
Onlz (Only!) one problem detected: keyboard (chosen German): z and y inverted.

i installed budgie on manjaro 15.12 xfce 64bit
budgieDE takes about 270MB. Total used RAM 750. so i guess your 550mb is fine probably has some other manjaro stuff  running in the backround. you can try and go with the i3 respin as base and install budgie if you want low RAM usage or try Arch + budgie.
