Well, to be honest, there are two things that I don't like about Manjaro. The icon, and the green theme. The green theme reminds me of the openSUSE, which I hate.
But that aside, you may consider flatplat-theme too. It embraces Material Design and is kinda greenish. It's modern and smooth.

Well considering most OS's come with a blue theme its kind of good one or two distros come with a custom theme, I even like Ubuntu for this

Purple is cool, you know. No other famous distro uses purple color afaik. Green and Blue are like cliches of Linux distros. I know what you mean, and I like FreeBSD's red color. Google's Material Design (https://www.google.com/design/spec/style/color.html#color-color-palette) has really nice color palettes that are worth looking at. Imhp, these are nice and are able to give the UI a modern look.
P.S: Sorry that I changed the topic.

For those interested in color popularity, and not just in knowing my particular preferences as noted above... here are some places to find such data:

I'm not sure I'm in the right place and maybe it's a dumb question, but I'd like to change the color of the Menda folders from bright green to another color, but haven't yet located where the config files to do this are...and I've looked.  ???
OK, so I took the red pill. Now what?

Oh, it's not a setting, it is the icon for the folder. I don't have Menda icons installed, but on maia-xfce it is /usr/share/icons/maia/places/scalable/folder.svg

Thanks for the info. Actually, I had found the menda theme files in /usr/share/icons, but I was looking for a config text file in which I could enter a different color code. Now I see that the menda theme does offer different color folders, but I haven't figured out yet how to switch from green to another color.  ???

I think it is probable through imagemagick/feh in the terminal. I have seen it done recently in another forum, without using a GUI editor. Or you can manually overlay every icon individually in GIMP, with a fixed colour hue  et. al. But that will take some  time.

EDIT: Here is some good reading :)
http://steveliles.github.io/creating_colourised_icon_theme_sets_with_image_magick.html
Tons of documentation on it's official site. Will take some time but, once done a couple of times, then no limit in batch icon colorization. Easily one of the most comprehensive programs in the Linux world. CLI Photoshop  8)
