Can anyone post how one goes about setting up WBAR?
« on: 20. November 2015, 06:24:11 »
Was looking into WBAR and thought id give it a shot. I tried but havent had much success.

Would like to replace current dock with this one: https://manjaro.github.io/Manjaro-Fluxbox-0.8.13.1-released/ .

Any idea how to go about it? I already tried installing wbar through the package manager. No luck.

So, I looked around and found wbar package from AUR, (Arch Linux).
Here are some links:

https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/wbar/   x86_64 version

https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/i686/wbar/  i686 version

You can use pamac on your tray, and open option and click on install local package. Then you want to edit your startup file to include wbar at start up. The file is located in /home/YOUR USER NAME/.fluxbox/

And insert "wbar &" without the quotes. And that should work if not, let me know. You can also find wbarconf, it is a great gui to setup wbar.

Here is the link for wbarconf.
