May I suggest multiple options in the poll? It's pretty tough choice the way it is. I like a bunch of them equally.

In the past 12+ years, I have used Xfce DE since my 1st day of using Linux.

Now, I am a Dev/Tester for Xfce.

I love Manjaro-Xfce,  what they have done with it.
.........................

But, I really like what the Manjaro-es devs have done with > Manjaro-Fluxbox.

Used to run KDE Plasma5 as it had everything that I needed in a DE, but after I saw that I could get +5fps with Xfce4 in certain scenarios while gaming, I immediately switched over and I must say - XFCE has come a long way since the last time I used it. (back then I used to switch xfwm out with kwin just to get some features) :D

GNOME is my love, but I'm falling for Budgie & Deepin, both GNOME forks. What's a fella to do? Sheesh! :D :D :D

+1 on c00ter's comment. I love all of those, especially Budgie DE, but I think it needs time to mature a bit. Once it does, I will most certainly change from XFCE to Budgie. The reasons I love XFCE are because of the low ram usage and speed, but most importantly, the search function of the whisker menu :)

All Hail Manjaro the Heroin distro :D haha

Well, always loved gnome loon'n'feel, and when first tried Gnome3, well.. even if not perfect, it was love at first sight: so brave and sleek :)
I also always like Manjaro, trying to deliver to forever noobs like me (such a hard task I guess!) an Arch experience (so fascinated but its community and documentation).
But always and sadly thought it to be a KDE-centric distro.. well I don't want to spread flames (I try to respect other people tastes) but it would be lovely if Manjaro could official cater also to the Gnome fans out there (Antergos look so-so).

Know my only concern: I know my wishes are one thing and that real world is another thing.. so I just wonder if the people making Manjaro existing (developers) are also interested in Gnome or not..

Thanks for all the support so far, and to the forum users helping other users out there :)

Exactly, and I don't understand the animosity from non-Gnome3 users towards the inclusion of Gnome3 along with other official Manjaro DEs.

No animosity here .. i feel the vitriol directed at it,is RedHat related and not Gnome itself.
Theres pros and cons with any WM/DE and during their respective development these will ebb and flow ... 'constructive' criticism should be embraced ... there is also those who believe any review as a 'personal attack to their sensitivities'.
I dunno, looking at other elements of Manjaro's infrastructure ... using Xfce as a 'flagship' makes total sense to me ... (maybe im wrong?) ... but if anyone wants to start a Gnome3 spin using either branch,i wouldnt imagine anyone would be out to stop you ... you want it,do it !(and speaking as an evergreen under-achiever,i promise you,i know what im talking about ;))

Yep no animosity here on my part towards Gnome. And quite happy to see it become a main Manjaro flavor due plainly just the number of users say so.

I've received more flack from all other distro's making fun and spreading FUD about KDE. Always using terms like "Fisher Price","Resource Hog",Bloated.
Which I never understood. As KDE for me always chimed in around the 420mb to desktop. Which was less than Unity,Cinnamon and yes Gnome for me always came in using more ram to desktop. And KDE for me always fast and responsive. With my forays into Unity,Cinnamon & Gnome with varying responsiveness that were a smidgin slower or not as smooth.

Others may have a opposite experience. As way too many variables in hardware, open vs. proprietary drivers, package versions,etc..etc...

To me it's about recognizing all of us as Brothers & Sisters in the fight against closed source & proprietary world out there. Why the need to nit-pick each other's choices for DE or WM is beyond my understanding. Accept in childish behaviors of children fighting on the playground.

This is an interesting trend (google trends) between Xfce, KDE, and Gnome.
