Manjaro-Fluxbox 15.11 (stable) maintenance release
« on: 02. November 2015, 19:53:51 »
Fresh ISOs of Manjaro-Fluxbox are available.

These new install media include of course the latest version of the advanced Fluxbox-menu with Regenerate menu function and the latest version of Manjaro-dmenu.
By means of the great amount of feedback I was able to include many little fixes, additions and improvements. Thank you all! :)
One main motivation for this release was to provide install media adjusted and updated to the latest stable OpenRC packages.

enjoy! :)

Just installed this in a virtual machine today, I'm really impressed - very slick - good work  8)
Didn't we already pass that same stack of rocks twice?

I've been using this distro for around a month now, and I have to say I've been very impressed. Glad to see the new update, I'm really enjoying my stay so far!

Keep it up mate! I'm kinda really tight on time to give a full review, but I'll do it a bit later. Cheers!

Is there a way to change window buttons into full numix?

Wow, this one also looks incredible Oberon.

What sort of GUI utilities are available for configuring Fluxbox?

The dock seems to be behaving differently than a month ago. In the previous release I was able to add the icons of newly-opened apps by dragging them to a suitable place on the dock and then select "Keep.." from right-click menu on the icon. Now the only item under right-click menu on the newly-opened apps on the dock is "Close"

How to add icons to the dock?

Seems like Plank is set to 'lock'. You can access the Plank settings from the fluxbox-menu (under Customization). When you unlock it you should be able to drag/add/remove items again.

Hi Paul75!
This is a known issue with certain graphics drivers obviously.
Can you fix it during a session with "restart fluxbox" from the menu as a workaround?

Hi sidro!
The currently available ISOs are from November, so they are quite recent.
In the immediate future I will not find the time to create new install media of Fluxbox.
I recommend you simply use a 15.11 ISO and update the packages. There should not be any problems with that :)
If anyone here would like to produce an updated version. Please feel free to do so!
