vertical panel in Fluxbox?
« on: 16. October 2015, 23:17:45 »
Is it possible to have a vertical panel in fluxbox? I'm considering to install it and not being able to have a vertical panel would be deal-breaker for me, how weird this may sound to you. ;)

Thanks! I also found it out now. And can I make it thicker and make the window buttons symbolic? I didn't find a parameter for it yet.

I found the parameter, it is in .init and its name is session.screen0.toolbar.height:

Now I want to make the iconbar display symbols only, no window names. If I apply this setting I see an empty iconbar. I read somewhere that I need a special kind of style with pixamps folder within the style folder. Can s.o. recomend such a style or haw can I make it myself?
