Unable to access Windows Network [SOLVED]
« on: 29. September 2015, 23:10:56 »
I just installed Manjaro LXDE edition and the first thing I noticed is when I open pcmanfm and go to Go-Network, all I see are three shortcuts that go nowhere. What should I do?

I already have Samba set up but I can't see the shares on my other computers when I go to PCmanfm and go to go-network. The Windows Network icon does not appear as it should. I have Peppermint installed on another computer running Ubuntu 14.04 and I can access my network shares no problem, but for some reason LXDE  Manjaro doesn't allow me to do this even after installing the latest version from the Community.

I also want to mention that I have all of my LAN samba shares working properly in my fstab file. I tried the Nemo and Thunar file managers with the same results so I am wondering if I am missing something I should be installing.

I solved my problem by installing some smb files. Works fine now.
