Ah, good thinking, gohlip, yes!
That makes sense.
But anyway the menu und theme are determined by files in ~/.fluxbox - so it is still strange...

He had firefox installed in previous xfce. That remains in new fluxxbox install because he reused /home.
Also if I had to install a Manjaro over a previous Manjaro partition (/), I had to reformat that partition otherwise even previous kernels are maintained even if they are not in new installation. Yes, its wierd. So his firefox app previously installed is there. This results even if I ask installer to format the partition. I needed to format that partition before starting new installation.

We really need to look into Manjaro installers. Had mentioned this before and I do not like to repeat as it may appear more of a criticism than a report. Some people take 'complaints' badly. (I take compliments badly...   ::)  not used to it  ;D )

exactly, since I had firefox before I think it could show up, but conserning fluxbox...not even the background was showing...

so I have to back up my home partition and do a new install in the whole hdd...maybe later!

thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I had issues with the fluxbox menu not showing programs I installed like LibreOffice. I installed i3 manjaro by Oberon and am loving it...although dmenu isnt showing my new installs either...I have to use the dmenu-desktop to find libreoffice and gimp :/

What happens if in dmenu you just type libreoffice and hit enter (just ignore if it's not showing up). Is it listed the next time?
Here I don't have that problem. libreoffice is right there immediately.
Do you have the latest dmenu-manjaro installed?
In Fluxbox that's normal. The menu is not dynamic. You will have to either update it manually in ~/.fluxbox/menu or use a utility like menumaker.

According to a random google search:

The wheeling direction parameter is located in ./fluxbox/init. So open it with your favourite text editor and modify the following value:
session.screen0.reversewheeling:    true
I try to help, please don't shoot me if I'm wrong!

Really?!  Fluxbox doesn't benefit from menu system similar to Openbox/Obmenu?   :o

thanks,
Have you restarted the session? The init file is only processed on login or when you click on "restart" in the fluxbox menu.
Have you tried both values, true and false?
I'm not at my flux-computer right now... will try it out later :)
Stay tuned! ;)

Another possibility:

Code: [Select]
xmodmap -e “pointer = 1 2 3 5 4 6 7 8 9 10 11 12”
As you can see 5 and 4 has switched spots - which should make scrolling reversed.

Yes, execute that in your terminal.
Try it again, I think the preview one had some problems.

Works fine for me! :)
