You're absolutely right oberon, Fluxbox is simple to set up, light and do what you have to do, I use it in Manjaro, Arch and FreeBSD and everything is perfect, I only need to install it on Windows  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

best regards  ;)

The thread regarding EFI bootloader issues has been moved to https://forum.manjaro.org/index.php?topic=25744.0.

Just posting this back here in case more people stumble upon this issue with manjaro-fluxbox.
I try to help, please don't shoot me if I'm wrong!

So, what about the "oblogout-manjaro" package?  When will it be available in the stable repos?  Today, I almost installed i3lock to replace xlockmore, so I'm very interested in this!

It will arrive with the next stable update on Monday. But you can of course install it already from the unstable repo with a temporary
Code: [Select]
sudo pacman-mirrors -g -b unstable && sudo pacman -Sy
sudo pacman -S oblogout-manjaro

Just remember to
Code: [Select]
sudo pacman-mirrors -g && sudo pacman -Syagain afterwards to keep the rest of your system in stable... :) 8)

Hey, oberon!

I don't know how to contribute to the project (other than poking you on the forums..)

Because nitrogen is used by default the default theme should (in my opinion) be slightly changed:

Code: [Select]
/usr/share/fluxbox/styles/manjaro-flux/theme.cfg

Comment out:
background:
background.color:
background.colorTo:

This is based on https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fluxbox#Nitrogen
Quote
You may find that if you restart Fluxbox, the wallpaper set by the currently selected theme overwrites the wallpaper set by Nitrogen. To fix this, edit the theme.cfg file of the theme you are using and comment out or delete the following options:

For the future: Could I, theoretically, push this change to github myself?
I'm guessing I could... I've just never used github for anything but personal project so far. Sorry if it's a dumb question :)

You can always simply fork a repo and open a pull request with your suggested change, sure! :)

Thanks!  :)  But do I need to edit any dotfiles to get it to work?  Or will it automagically work by itself?  Does it come with a preference pane for the menu?

Sorry about all the hand holding!   :P

Editing not necessarily needed, just you might want to comment out one or the other entry like maybe switch user or hibernate in /etc/oblogout.conf :)
