In Octopi, when a new version of a package installed from the AUR becomes available, its version number is shown as identical for both the new and the currently installed package. So, for example, today it said that atom-editor-bin 1.0.4 is installed and 1.0.4 is available as the newer version when it should be 1.0.5.

The version number is currect in the terminal all the time though.

Has anybody else run into this issue?

Had exactly the same issue this morning. Two packages which actually needed updating from "-1" to "-2" versions. Octopi reported both old and new packages having the exact same "-1" version prior to updating.

Whassup with that?

Today the AUR was moved over to the new AUR4 and yaourt is pointing there as of today.
I would not be surprised if that's the reason for a temporary messup ... ...
Is it still behaving like that?

Yes, it is.

Actually, I first noticed this behaviour even a few weeks before the switch to AUR4, but I didn't consider it too big a problem at the time.
