Pantheon development release [unstable]
« on: 02. July 2015, 22:57:53 »
Guys, I made a video of ISO made but not yet over , it is my test  ;) .
Thanks to the suggestions of lucasnota  8) the wingpanel also works well except for the notification icon is not seen , but I think it is a mistake of themes and icons  >:( .
This iso is based on repo unstable . I tried to bring together mutter 3.14 ( necessary for proper use of controls windows ) but mutter 3.16 but so far I have failed  :-\  even though I found that if you click quickly and continuously on x to close the windows the command works in the video He sees .
I saw that on launchpad opened other reports for this bug .

Now my question to you is this , I do not say they should wait pantheon enter into repo community of arch (although I think it would be better as it would align the repo Manjaro with arch ) but at least it resolves bugs mutter

I am of the opinion that it would be better to wait , however, because the know would be a iso unstable with daily updates for this release is not new pre-release

Sorry, I don't understand what your questions is.  Could you clarify?

I have a suggestion for future videos.  Use the default light elementary theme, instead of the dark version.  So that prospective users don't think the dark version is the only one.

Well done, Stefano

Wait for pantheon in comunitty is the best idea, but I think we could make one iso with just pantheon shell, almost  pantheon vanilla

I don't see the harm in releasing another pre-release.  As long as you explain it's still an alpha or beta.  However, I think gala 3.14 should be included.  Yet, that makes updating some applications a pain.

Sort of a side question, is the plan to keep Alcuryd's repo or use your or Lucas' fork for Pantheon apps.  I think I prefer using Alcuryd's because it would be more up to date.  However, using a fork would let you change the PKGBUILDs so that they won't complain if we have manjaro-gala-bzr installed.

I agree with mutter 3.14, because mutter affects just gnome-shell and I think anyone will get a pantheon iso to install gnome-shell
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/mutter/

I can make updates one time a week,  I don't know  how  was Alcuryd's  repo but her pkgbuilds are outdate in aur
