Welcome goThic! - Cinnarch is cool but the Manjaro blend does it for me, especially with a hot cup of coffee in the morning @ the tip of Africa! Keep us posted on how you get on post-install. Enjoy, sS.

My name is Steve and I have been using Manjaro since the beginning of November 2012.  (Sounds like I am at an AA meeting :) )

/home/UK/England/Yorkshire/Sheffield :)

I started with Red Hat (circa 1996-7)  >> Mandrake >> Mandriva >> LMDE >> Manjaro

It's all Ringo's fault, he posted about Manjaro in the LMDE forum.  I was having problems with the AMD drivers, I knew they worked in Arch, but life is too short to install Arch....... ;)

I was an Accountant/IT Manger/Programmer (too many hats!) for various engineering companies in Sheffield, got made redundant and now work with people with dementia and challenging behaviour.  But guess what - they want me to work two days in the office giving IT support :(  35 years in an office was bad enough (and it is Windows!). Oh yeh, I am 51 (nearly 52!).

Forgot to introduce myself I'm angel currently living in Greece and though I'm of Greek and Serbian ancestry I sadly can't speak Serbian but I'm familiar with Greek, German and English (I'm also ready to translate the installer when the unicode GUI installer is ready). I've tried almost any major Linux distro (and also did cheat on Linux a bit with BSD) but I am perfectly happy with Manjaro. I hold a bachelors degree in electronics and communications and I'm hopping for a Masters degree in networking.

Hi all!
"Tun in a cellar"... what a strange pseudo... In fact it is an anagram!
I was born in 1968 and I live in Lille ("Rijsel" for Ringo...).
I hold the position of Application Manager in the IT&Processes department of a big IT european company. I don't use any open source during my daily work (indeed, M$ is still common in entreprise world). My job consists in supporting the French endusers (+10000) and improving our internal HRIS.
My first computer was a C64. But I learned the C-language with Lattice-C on an Amiga 500 which was firstly bought for computer music (modtracker).
I discovered linux with Ubuntu several years ago but I quicly adopted Archlinux. I had a look to Chakra, Fedora, Sabayon, Funtoo but I always returned to arch...
I read some topics about Manjaro in Arch forum and I said "give it a try...": I'm still here!

Why doing it yourself when manjaro-system can do it for you?

Hi all my name is Adolfo and I am from Spain.Im 37 and I'm electrician.
I am linux user since 2 years(18 months Mint user) and the last 6 months been looking for  another distro because im looking for a  rolling release.I was sick of installing a new version every 6 months. Finally I found Manjaro and I think it will be my distro for long.I really like the forum and the wiki and all people who try to help another users.I'm using KDE flavour with unstable repositories.
Sorry  for my english.

Hi all !!

Born in 1964 and living in Berlin  :)
I´m working for a german airline and "playing around" with Linux for about 10 years now... started with Yellow Dog on my imac, tried sooooo many different distros (Mandrake, Fedora, Suse, all kind of *buntu distros, Arch...) and after a very short stop at Cinnarch i discovered Manjaro and for me it`s simply perfect.
Everything works out of the box and the Community seems to be very polite and friendly

Regards from Germany :)

hi guys,

well I'm Seaco from Portugal I have been in linux since *buntu 8.04 then went distro hopping trying every kind of flavour around.
But giving more time x*buntu, I love xfce. when I decided to go distro hopping again I tried Manjaro, and stayed. Its really every thing I wanted for my OS. now its my main OS, all the rest that I need I use the VM.
XFCE Manjaro
