Are you using manjaroiso?

I assume you do.

We have fixed this issue in the upcoming new build tools.

Afaik, manjaroiso should also have these fixes, but I am not sure, as I am writing the new build tools.

For some strange reason, some packages start a dbus process which locks the /dev mount.

They are already in unstable, but I need to update the version to include this fix iirc.
The package name is manjaro-tools, but be aware, your old profile is not really functional with the new tools.
You'd also have to get the new profiles available on manjaro github.
The concept how the iso is built has changed quite a lot.

Regarding the error, there is no easy fix I am aware of at user level side.
We fixed it in the code by killing the dbus processes started strangely in chroot by likely a gconfpkg call of some pkg post_install script.

Hi Holmes,

your pekwm profile has already been migrated to manjaro-tools requirements.

I assume you pulled the github profiles repo.

Please build this git package here with makepkg...

The new version needs to be run one folder level above and by specifying with -p arg the profile.

eg..

Code: [Select]
buildiso -p pekwm-openrc
Just run help and read the readme. ;)

@roblowery: manjaro-tools is not yet ready for public usage. You have to specify a profile:
Code: [Select]
sudo buildiso -p xfce -a x86_64
Regarding ManjaroISO. I've to check again and maybe reintroduce lazy unmounts or fix the issue as we did within manjaro-tools. This issue is related to systemd 218.

Regarding ManjaroISO. Please check if this fixes it for you. Else you have to replace all umount -R cmds with umount -l cmds in buildiso.

Try if 0.8.12rc2-1 fixes it:
Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -U http://mirror.netzspielplatz.de/manjaro/packages/pool/overlay/manjaroiso-profiles-0.8.12rc2-1-any.pkg.tar.xz
