Issue with resizing & moving some app windows.
« on: 17. December 2014, 16:32:05 »
Chromium, WPS Office, Teamviewer & Steam will not allow me to resize windows by dragging the borders or move the window by dragging the title bar. The minimize & maximise buttons do however work. Really weird as other apps work fine.

Any ideas?

I haven't tried PEK properly, but is there/can you set a move/resize keyboard+mouse combo, like there is in AwesomeWM?
(Mod4+leftMouse=move, Mod4+rightMouse=resize)

That could at least serve as a workaround.

Have Fun! ^-^

While I may not always have the correct solution, my input could lead you in the right direction...
If you don't know what a command does, then type 'man <command>' or '<command> --help' to find out.

Are those windows meant to be resizable? For example Parcellite preferences window is annoyingly implemented as non-resizable.

You can resize via the mouse bindings but the grab handles do nothing.

I have googled and not yet found a solution. this is pekwm related as it does not happen in other wm/dm environments.
It's not theme related either.

If I cant solve this I will have to revert to openbox which I'm not keen on.

hello @mips, Claes Nästén response:

Hi,

I've tried Chromium Version 39.0.2171.95 on my FreeBSD computer together
with pekwm version from GIT and it works without any issues, both with
and without "Use system title bar and borders" checked.

Any modifications done to ~/.pekwm/mouse or ~/.pekwm/autoproperties?
Tried using the GIT version?
