Open a new subject about that ? It's interesting, maybe only an application to install.
Tell me what to install and I'll try it. I know that netbook edition since 0.8.10 doesn't connect via usb with android, despite it has all the stuff needed for it. It just does'n work and there was more people complaining. Please add all needed packages or fix this thing. I realy need it. Thanks.

HeLLo,
If the alias are well known, maybe not, but it's rarely the case. And it can be the beginning of an optimization tool.  ::)

So, made/show the alias to everyone, why optimization tool is for advanced users only (we don't play in Arch-hood here, or yes) ?

Merely versions have already alias, and never use/know them. And a comparizon with Arch has nothing to do with the current question.

You're sure, so keep the abstruse way of doing everything with terminal  ;)
It's not my choice

An alias is not in a terminal ? I prefer stop here, no progress.

I can't connect my android smartphones to my netbook. Android connection works out of the box only in official manjaro xfce.

Install gvfs-mtp

I installed it and the phone is mounted when I plug it.

If it works, I will add it.  ;) I don't use Android personnally.

You must add it. It work not just for Android phones (which have the greater market share) but for every device that use the MTP protocol (other phones, tablets, mediaplayers, some cameras, etc).

One of the main things that the users do with their machines is copy media, (music, photos, doucuments, etc) from their and to their portable devices (phones, tablets, mediaplayers, etc).

With manjaro-pulse and gvfs-mtp, my 32 bits ISO takes now 680 MB. My margin is short, now.  ;)

Manjaro-pulse isn't a problem. I'm planning to switch to tox :) , but the android connection is a must have.

Please run the command like this:

"sudo journalctl -r"

Run this before and after connecting the phone.
