Some of these numbers are really impressive :)
When I grow up I would like to have less than 700 packages install on my system :D
I am keen to try a net install to see where I end up.

Did you trim down or build-up to get such low numbers?

I installed arch about a week ago, I', surprised how light it is.

Xfce in manjaro had around 1400-1500 packages but arch xfce only got 970 and I can't think of any software I'm missing now.

do `pacman -Q | awk '{ print $1 }' > installed.txt` on both systems, rename installed.txt to something representative for each system, then `diff` them. The output is the list of packages missing in arch but installed in manjaro.
