I found the problem for the 1st start of qupzilla. Works perfect now.
And I use now the release 1.7 of qupzilla-git (qt4) instead of the qupzilla 1.6 of community.
so it uses even less ram. great job!
A Qt5 version exists also, but less votes, so I prefer use a stable product.
i agree. keep the qt5 version in your mind (or better: on a list) a look at it's state in a couple of months again and test it. if it appears stable and you do not read any complaints, install the qt5 version by default. if not, check again a couple of months later.
please do not take the number of votes as the only indicator. people had much more time to vote for the qt4 version than for the qt5 version (except, they were released at the same time). this can distort the ratio of votes.

now, lxqt looks more professional.
there is still a lot of work left, but with the 1.0 release of lxqt the settings menu (and everything about lxqt) should feel much better! there is nothing you can do about that - we just need to wait.
