Hi letian,

tried to modify your update with:

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Syy
sudo pacman -S manjaro-keyring
sudo pacman -Suu

This worked for me after replacing
Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -S manjaro-keyring
with
Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -S manjaro-keyring archlinux-keyring

Also confirming it to work. It's an old post, I know. I just want to make sense of why after so long the automatic updater still don't work on it's own. Had trouble updating with pacman on every machine. Sounds like an issue to address?

It's always tricky when a new packager key gets added - which was the case recently again - even though we do our best to make these transitions smooth ...
On the other hand you can say it's good that pacman's security system is a bit over-sensitive ;) ::)
manjaro is addictive ::)
* manjaro-i3  * manjaro-cinnamon  * manjaro-deepin

Oh well, since the workaround isn't that much of a pain in the butt. Thanks for the more technical insight.
