Issue With Mirrors and upgrade
« on: 26. May 2014, 08:46:20 »
For some reason I can't upgrade one of my machines. I've done the other 3 fine but I am getting:

Hi screaming jet,

try for resolve it to reboot the system, and repeat the command line

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Syy
if don't work you must do:

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman-mirrors -g
and

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Syyu
if don't work again you must:

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Syy
and

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -S manjaro-keyring
and

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Suu
if don't work again too:

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman-key -r CB6CDD17
sudo pacman-key --lsign-key CB6CDD17

or

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman-key -r 5C0102A6
sudo pacman-key --lsign-key 5C0102A6

I went through all of the above and I got it to do the update prior to the:

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman-key -r CB6CDD17
sudo pacman-key --lsign-key CB6CDD17

But it was still throwing the errors up. Have these servers not synced over yet or is there another reason for this? Because it seems like it would be another issue seeing I updated 3 other machines all without a hitch. Obviously I would like to resolve this before the next update.

Try deleting all *db files from /var/lib/pacman/sync/ directory and doing Hertz commands again?

Hi screaming jet,

No need to be sorry. I appreciate your effort and assistance.

Thank you very much for your thought.

I have a question:

perhaps have you commented with # other server e maintain and enable only that in your country in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorslist.conf?

@Enindu:
