* libreoffice with en_GB and en_US translations got added

Also we are open for suggestions what applications we should add to our XFCE edition since we have now more space to store it.

Get it from here and tell me what you think about it.

Attention

Version 0.8-20120828 has followed issues:

setup is broken due some sed missmatches. Simple fix it like this:
Code: [Select]
sudo sed -i "s/^.*TITLE=.*/  TITLE=\"Manjaro Linux CLI Installation (v0.8-20120828)\"/g" /etc/manjaro/setup
sudo setup

@mrneilypops: The link is there - I'm downloading it now.

@philm: I think a java run time should be included. I would also like to see a bittorrent client and an IRC client too. (Personally using open jre, transmission and x-chat). I would avoid adding to much to the default install - I think that a minimal install should always be an option, at least.

OK-I didn't count but livedvd boot seems a little faster although certainly not 3-10seconds (30-40seconds?)

Libreoffice in English UK  ;D

Looking like another great upcoming release...more feedback when I have time...

"Manjaro CLI Installer" desktop link does nothing because the install script is a little borked!

[manjaro@manjaro ~]$ sudo setup
/usr/sbin/setup: line 2: syntax error near unexpected token `('
/usr/sbin/setup: line 2: `  TITLE=Manjaro Linux CLI Installation (v0.8-2012.08.28)"Manjaro Linux CLI Installation (v0.8.0)"'

Just edit /etc/manjaro/setup -> TITLE="Manjaro Linux CLI Installation"

Okay - Installed fine in Virtualbox Hosted on Win 7. Aside from the minor issue above everything seems to be working so far.

About to test install on my netbook...

1.- Able to install in any language - from the english LiveCD installer - setup it after english installation is not KISS at all and not for NOOBS, not only setiings and system language, Libreoffice and others too.

2.- GPT partitions - it is in the todo list -

3.- Qbitttorrent, for me the best torrent client, and it is not well known, Search integrated, excellent RSS programming, everyone I sugest it to thanks me.

4.- Arista transcoder who does not need to change a video to transfer to other device or make a SVCD or a DVD

5.- 720p / 1024x768 resolutions as default. 720p is less than half pixels than 1080p, and that is a lot for people that need XFCE because of low power GPUs, with 720p conky/s.

6.- Multisystem, I love it, and unfortunately only works in Ubuntu.

@esx: Title issue is fixed in git
@mitcoes: 1) adding more language support is in planning. For example a better sysmenu with opton to choose your language.
2) GPT-Partitions will come since we want to support EFI too.
3) Transmission will be added
4) Point me to a PKGBUILD
5) Our LiveCD setups any resolution automatically. conky setup we might rework. Our current one doesn't fit low resolutions. Maybe you have one you can post.
6) What do you understand in multisystem?

Installed on my netbook fine, sdb detected and was able to mount on boot as /home.

For me personally, the image is getting a little large for my crappy old asus eee900.
(The 4gb / is 86% full). As I said earlier, an option to install a minimal system would be excellent.

@esx: There might be a openbox edition by Neil we can make small and tiny. We will see. I really have to look how we do it best. Maybe a net-install after all ...

Followed changes so far:

* Fix title issue
* Add xchat, transmission, spanish & russian language support and language pkgs
* Add latino language support and language pkgs & config

Will be all in my testbuild tomorrow ...
