So I updated pamac to 0.7 and here is the result for packages-manager:

browsing packages by groups => ok
browsing packages by repository => ok (I notice some delay before having the list of extra and community repositories as it existed for previous version)
browsing packages by states => quite ok (delay before having the list of not installed packages is quite important)

searching for package => ok

installing yaourt (had to remove it before being able to update pacman to 4.1) => ok (yajl and package-query were correctly installed as dependencies)
removing yaourt => ok (only yaourt is removed because it was explicitely installed and package-query was added in the orphans list)
installing yaourt again (I need it...) => ok (yaourt is intalled again and package-query was removed from the orphans list)

The enhancement I submit is:
change the icon curson while an action takes some times and freeze the GUI.
    current situation:
the user clicks on "community" in the list of "repositories"
pamac is searching for packages... the GUI is frozen
pamac displays the list and "community" is finally selected

    proposal:
the user clicks on "community" in the list of "repositories"
"community" is selected and the cursor is changed (from the classic arrow icon to the busy one)
pamac is searching for packages... the GUI is frozen
pamac displays the list and the cursor is changed (from the busy icon to the classic arrow)
Why doing it yourself when manjaro-system can do it for you?

Another enhancement I submit is:
displaying the list of dependencies which will be kept after deletion in the summary dialog box

Thx for your feedback. I work on gui backend code improvements, your suggestions to fix the freeze when pamac is searching packages are already added.

Great!

Another finding...
Since this evening, manjaro-system requires manjaro-settings-manager

from pacman, trying to remove manjaro-settings-manager (sudo pacman -Rc) fails wih a warning (with default answer set to 'N') because manjaro-system is in HoldPkg

from pamac, trying to remove manjaro-settings-manager is "sucessful". I should write "cataclysmic" because the system is totally broken
the behaviour should be the same as pacman one => if a package to be removed because of cascading is in HoldPkg then the transaction fails

options are always good of course!

Another findings:

intial case = netcfg is installed, netcf is not installed
action = trying to install netctl
result = fails with a strange message "netcfg conflicts with netctl but cannot removed because it is required by netcf" (or something like that)
sudo pacman -S netctl can be performed (after confirmation of course)

initial case = netctl is installed
action = trying to install netcfg
result = fails with not handled error (pm_error 47)
sudo pacman -S netcfg can be performed correctly (after confirmation of course)

A sugestion: Is it posible to add a column with the package version in the package list? For me is very useful to sort packages by version, to get related packages together. Also, it lets me see quickly the versions of the packages without the needing of click each one. (thanks) ;)

By the way, what is manjaro-settings-manager? I mean in more detail than just a way to change the settings of manjaro-system. I couldn't find manjaro-settings-manager in a search of the wiki or blog.

Sorry... I should have mentionned that my system is based on the "unstable" repositories for giving more feedback to core-team...

manjaro-settings-manager is incorporated in the last snapshots (0.8.5) and is not yet automaticaly installed while an upgrade. this feature is coming soon (currently it is in unstable, then it will reach testing and finally the stable repos)

this tools will be the manjaro control centre in the future.

implemented!

the proof of test:
trying to remove pacman-init which is directly needed by manjaro-system fails with an error message teeling that manjaro-system is locked
trying to remove haveged which is indirectly needed by manjaro-system fails with an error message teeling that manjaro-system is locked
