I cannot install geogebra with pamac: if I tick the checkbox and I click on "Apply" ("Appliquer" in the French locale) then nothing happens.

I wonder if the root cause is that pamac doesn't ask for choosing which java-runtime I want to install (pacman asks such a question)
Why doing it yourself when manjaro-system can do it for you?

Ask Guillaume. I think there aren't any logs for pamac yet.

Yes sorry for the missing script in the first build.
Now pamac 0.4.1 is out. It's smarter than ever and comes with a working tray which can be launched with the pamac-tray command.
@eugenez: a log file is planned for soon.

does pamac use a copy of pacman db files when it checks for updates like kalu does?
if no, do you plan such a feature?

'libflashsupport-oss' does the same thing for me too (not that I need it, I almost accidentally installed it, but it is a bug).

Can i unistall pacman-gui, pkgbrowser and kalu after installing pamac?

As someone already said: "Yes We Can!"

Seriously, kalu may be still useful til pamac-tray is working well

I assume from the above that kalu can coexist with pamac-tray?  They won't conflict with each other if I run both simultaneously?

Prefer to keep kalu until I'm sure that pamac-tray works fine on my PC.   :)

No the reason why kalu behaves like that is solved differently in pamac.

Yes this is a bug, it's fixed in last sources but it's because the packager of libflashsupport-oss decided to make it conflicts with itself !

I had a quick question about pamac...when removing a package, is there a setting anywhere to get it to remove the dependencies it installed for that package as well?
