pamac-0.3.1-1 is not available at the moment http://sourceforge.net/projects/manjarodev/files/packages/any/

This is the sourceforge server's issue. Try again in a few hours.

That's because we are at 0.3.2 now  ;)

do you plan a "pamac-notifier" ?
Why doing it yourself when manjaro-system can do it for you?

i do like if you want to remove something it moved to ´red´  its more clear because installed are more in green.. mayby what you want to install something in yellow??
:)

mayby its a great idea to make some space for a link    left under the window for parts to remove
or parts to install.. in order of that , on a single click you see in one screen what you install also ;)

and mayby in the future can evolve in to mix install and remove but its to far for now.

Hmmm i have removing my desktops for now :) i do it now with pamac ...

but some strange way it guessing to remove what i dont want..

im in lxde do remove Xfce desktop...

i choose al of xfce package...i have watch over, its had suggesting to remove Lxdm also ;S
i dont know if been my fault.. i remove package thas was needed for mintmenu... so removing the Mate-desktop parts...

it suggesting remove  conky-control...

mayby i gues, was cause of mate-dialogs.., mayby so i trying to let it on so want to turnback to green but still remove.. mate-dialogs, it was te replacement of zenity ...couldnt install zenity right away because its one on one, its working like gnome-packagekit,... i dont know i am wrong or not :)

in some cases you could remove essential parts on this way then you gets some error you dont understand in first time and you have removed :) on conky-control removal i install it again, it might needed zenity..,  i couldnt install right after ?? but when i remove xfce it want remove lxdm.., in my point of view lxdm is not a depencies of xfce4 :)

i just want to say it :)

mayby i am wrong ..,  idea is, when you removed something  , that it showup is ok,  but there must come a window like ; Cant remove cause of some depencies : lxdm or something if you selected one depencies to much and is some misstake you dont want :)

so it dont removed automatically :)

its a bit complicated to explain really :) when its depencies ok, bit out of way
is not good :)

pacman removal was of bad move of mine , nothing worked properly ( no updates , no sync with Manjaro  ) , well I installed Manjaro XFCE for a change , I wanted to try it one day or another , so now my 3rd different Manjaro distro in a month or 2 . lol . But it was wanted ( try different flavors of Manjaro ) .

NEVER REMOVE PACMAN.
Pamac needs pacman and it is just aiming to provide a gui to install and remove packages. It don't want to completely replace it.
I also wonder how you remove it because it's a HoldPkg.

pamac is not a replacement of pacman  :o

its more a native Gui for installing thinks, very user friendly its more in alpha stages it must comes in the distro ! this packagemanager they control the gui, with gnome-packagekit they cant control, and has some issues....

pacman stays it uses pacman also :)

I found a bug in checking conflicts. It can lead to remove unwanted packages when update your system.
Here is pamac-0.3.3 which have a fix to avoid the most dangerous situation. It should also be available soon in the unstable repo.
Solve conflicts is the most complicated task atm so it will need other modifications and tests.
For now, when updating your system, always be careful if pamac says some packages need to be removed. If any doubt post here and/or use pacman to update.
I remind everyone that pamac is unstable.
Thanks to all of you for testing, this way pamac is better everyday !
