fairly to say i dont use manjaro package manager... i use Pacmanxg4  , its a nice packagemanager , it spread using can handle┬┤s aur/normal repository kill the orphans and i dont know if that works. It kan do Rankmirrors... but on some part its not native enough but its not to say it  hurts me.
with this you can see all of thinks what you have gona install or what you remove it blocks cause off te depencies  you have to choose when it can further.

i does this with installing pnmixer, is ask me to remove xfce4-pnmixer. i could do Y or N  ..

with Pamac is a look a like of gnome-package kit..,  its doesn ask... i choose Y and then  some thing flases with ( ! ) and it off, and pamac is after then Unusable :) i have latest from testing..

mayby is better to clear it out ? like option not to check but like pacmanxg4 when you klick on it you see install or remove.. so  if i have xfce-pnmixer installed and you want install pnmixer ; it Blocks the installation standard  but whill you further then do you have manualy remove the xfce4-pnmixer, not in a other session but check them as remove then knows the browser that you wanna remove it.

its not for irritating something, but as that gona be the main packagemanager then it must be resisted like that , not it gona break and will be unusable :) and broken..

the options like gnome-packagekit seems to be unuseble... on this case??

Of course you can't compare a stable program with one in alpha stage.
@Philm: can you try again with 0.2.7 ?

After installing pamac-0.2.7-1 , it doesn't placed itself into KDE menu, and it's look isn't regular KDE look.

i do delete Evolution-data i know its a depencies of evolution... give a thing  so i select backon... it say no package selecto on

so i try delete openbox i know there is some depencies then i get this  :o

that pnmixer where fine, it does the job forward and revert..

but if the error in pamac package manager it float also to the update, my advice is just, Drop the update. you have also a nice updater.. Kalu.., it spread news and new updates, dont drop something when aint broken.. you prefer putting more energy in the base Pamac,  looking is ok, it looks almost to  Gnome-package kit, but i hope it can be more adult. like  some button like Chromium on right corner to have some more options like rankmirrors. but personal how it handle in pacmanxg4 is apreciate too.. giving good mix of terminal and gui use..

its in begin stadium... update manager is just too much :) you have a nice one it works..

Here it is: http://repo.manjaro.org.uk/addon-unstable/x86_64/pamac-0.3.1-1-any.pkg.tar.xz
It can now be launched as user and use Polkit and Dbus to get authorization and run transactions (with also many fixes) .
Please give feedback.  ;D
