Okay, here's a weird one. I want to permanently change to the testing repo, and I've followed the instructions on the Wiki here and here. I used...

Code: [Select]
sudo gedit /etc/pacman-mirrors.conf
And edited the line - changed stable to testing as seen below and saved the file;

However when I go to update the mirrorlist and system using;

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman-mirrors -g && sudo pacman -Syyu
It still updates the mirrorlist from stable. I've triple checked the settings and pacman-mirrors.conf, and it's saved as testing. Of course I can update from testing using the temporary method, but the permanent method doesn't seem to be working.

Any thoughts? Using Manjaro Cinnamon 16.02.

EDIT: Fixed, now I feel dumb, heh. You need to uncomment Branch = for it to work - this isn't mentioned in the tutorials as far as I can see.

Well, it is documented it has to be uncommented:

Code: [Select]
## Branch Pacman should use (stable, testing, unstable)

Else you whould have seen this:

Code: [Select]
## Branch Pacman should use (stable, testing, unstable)
