Hi Esclapion,
For the Chinese font ('NotoSansCJKsc-Regular.otf'), built-in support is the best solution. But make a package and push it in AUR is also good enough.:)
Thanks!

You already have THOSE FONTS. Are they not sufficient ?

Sorry I missed this wiki...
I checked just now. After installing the" adobe-source-han-sans-cn-fonts - Simplified Chinese OpenType/CFF fonts " font pkg, Chinese will be displaying very well. So, yes, they are sufficient to me for displaying in Chinese.
Thanks a lot!

Hi, i'm new to Manjaro (but not to linux) and was looking for a light distribution to run on an older Core2 duo. I like lxqt, so i tried your new release (manjaro-lxqt-15.10-i686.iso). It works nice on the above mentioned hardware, but there are some issues with the installer (calamares) i'd like to share. On the Hardware the installer insists on deleting and recreating a new partition instead of just using it, leaving partitions not in disk order:
before (in German only, sorry):
Code: [Select]
Gerät      Boot   Anfang      Ende  Sektoren Größe Kn Typ
/dev/sda1  *        2048   4192964   4190917    2G 82 Linux Swap / Solaris
/dev/sda2        4196304 312576704 308380401  147G  5 Erweiterte
/dev/sda5        4196352  45142649  40946298 19,5G 83 Linux
/dev/sda6       45146112  86092334  40946223 19,5G 83 Linux
/dev/sda7       86095872 312576704 226480833  108G 83 Linux

The partition i wanted to install on is sda6, but it was deleted and recreated as sda7
after:
Code: [Select]
Device     Boot    Start       End   Sectors  Size Id Type
/dev/sda1  *        2048   4192964   4190917    2G 82 Linux swap / Solaris
/dev/sda2        4196304 312576704 308380401  147G  5 Extended
/dev/sda5        4196352  45142649  40946298 19.5G 83 Linux
/dev/sda6       86095872 312576704 226480833  108G 83 Linux
/dev/sda7       45146112  86091775  40945664 19.5G 83 Linux
Partition table entries are not in disk order.

It's not a major thing, but it would be nice if the installer could just use an existing partition without the renumbering

Another problem i had with the installer was on a vm in qemu with just a blank disk (no partitions, no filesystems); calamares dies with
Code: [Select]
07:43:59 [1]: enoughStorage, enoughRam, hasPower, hasInternet, isRoot:  true true true true true
07:44:01 [1]: "Osprober lines, clean:\n"
07:44:01 [1]: Devices with limit reached: ()
07:44:01 [1]: Devices with limit reached: ()
07:44:01 [1]: Osprober entries:
LLVM ERROR: Do not know how to split the result of this operator!

This problem does not exist using the manjaro-xfce-15.09-x86_64.iso on a blank disk in qemu.

As i said, just some minor issues, apart from that a nice distri.

Should we wait for a coming release?

Hmmm, not for the moment, manjaro-tools evolve.
