403 forbidden - manjaro.mirror.serversaustralia.com.au ?
« on: 27. January 2014, 02:37:19 »
I added the two newish mirrors from Oz to my Custom mirror list last night, then tested them via pacman-mirrors -g , & they were both much quicker than what I usually see from the other "fastest" mirrors that populate my Custom list.

I just ran allservers.sh to check for any upgrades & install them, & get the following:

Code: [Select]
==> Processing mirrors:

:: Querying servers, this may take some time...

Interestingly, when I check my /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist it has the following in it, even though these aren't the fastest mirrors?

Code: [Select]
##
## Manjaro Linux repository mirrorlist

## Use pacman-mirrors to modify

I guess that the reason that the fastest mirrors aren't put in the top places of the mirrorlist is because they aren't carrying the most current versions of the packages?

Which (if that is the case) just leaves the 403 forbidden error with the manjaro.mirror.serversaustralia.com.au mirror ?

Yes. The mirrors updated since less than 4h are preferred to the others.

I just tested with the mirror in question again (nothing to download at this point) & it looks like it is OK now.

I'll test again in the morning (I'm off to bed now) & report.

Anthony just told me, he fixed it. To test even if you don't have to download anything use:

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Syy
... since you wanted to download all databases anyway.
