See what package owns those files with pacman -Qo
Example:
Code: [Select]
pacman -Qo /usr/include/qtxdg/xdgaction.h
pacman -Qo /usr/lib/libqtxdg.so
pacman -Qo /usr/lib/pkgconfig/qtxdg.pc

The instructions in the original post in that list are incomplete.

First do,
Code: [Select]
yaourt -S sddm-git
yaourt -S vala
yaourt -S libfm-git

Then,

Code: [Select]
yaourt -S libqtxdg-git liblxqt-git liblxqt-mount-git libsysstat-git lxsession-git pcmanfm-qt-git lxqt-common-git lxqt-panel-git lxinput-qt-git lxqt-about-git lxqt-config-git lxqt-globalkeys-git lxqt-notificationd-git lxqt-openssh-askpass-git lxqt-policykit-git lxqt-power-git lxqt-runner-git

and remember to enable sddm.

And if it's moaning about missing dependencies, edit PKBUILD to use the -git packages.

Did you install it on top of Xfce, too ? I figured that might be the problem and were thinking about a net-install.

Then you need to remove razor-qt before trying LXqt, which is unsurprising... and the LXqt PKGBUILD's conflicts array needs updating by the maintainer(s).

It is probably safe to say that LXqt is stil in a rather early state of development...

i installed the 32bit net edition of manjaro, updated it:
Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Syu
and installed yaourt:
Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -S base-devel yaourt
after that, i did:
Code: [Select]
yaourt -S git sddm-git vala libfm-git libqtxdg-git liblxqt-git liblxqt-mount-git libsysstat-git lxsession-git pcmanfm-qt-git lxqt-common-git lxqt-panel-git lxinput-qt-git lxqt-about-git lxqt-config-git lxqt-globalkeys-git lxqt-notificationd-git lxqt-openssh-askpass-git lxqt-policykit-git lxqt-power-git lxqt-runner-git --noconfirm
finally, i enabled sddm:
Code: [Select]
sudo systemctl enable sddm -f

i rebooted, chose lxde-qt-desktop and logged in. i saw a wallpaper. nothing else. when i change the size of my virtualbox window, i see the panel popping up for a very short amount of time before the background wallpaper is drawn above the panel again.

i had to shut down my virtual machine using force. the second time i booted and logged in, i saw the panel.

it is still a VERY basic desktop. there is (almost) no menu in the panel yet and the window decorator is missing (i cannot see any title bars and i cannot move windows) as well. even the desktop preferences are missing a lot of settings.

i tried kdm instead of sddm as well, but i did not notice any improvements (e.g. title bars).

but it boots, i can log in and it shows the desktop. this is the first step for every DE.

how can i open/start a terminal?
