the irony of it all

For extra irony you could've added the option to vote that you don't want to vote.

Is this a joke? Polls are just guidelines. I create some polls in our blog too. It help's us to get some feedback from our community. Example: I did a kernel poll and almost everybody voted for linux36. Guess what: We will release 0.8.2 with linux34 since that is the only way all developers can run their systems.

So: why do you dislike polls?

yes i do dislike most polls on forums as they tend to take the form of:

What's your favorite fruit ?

a) apple
b) banana
c) none of the above...

Did i believe they should be banned ?

a) no
b) i was being hyperbolic
c) hey, it's your forum, dude
d) as long as the forum does not become as strident as archforums, i do not care
e) yes, i was joking
f) all of above.

jitenderdogra is our KDE edition maintainer and started his work some days ago. He uses polls to get some feedback about his work is doing for us.
