Title: Pamac update manager frozen after update
Post by: bobl2424 on 22. May 2013, 02:06:34
I right-click on the orange pamac icon in the system tray, select 'Install/Check for updates', the Update Manager window appears, I click on Apply, everything works the pamac icon in the system tray turns green. The problem is the Update Manger window is now frozen, neither the Quit button or window x button work, and updates are still shown in the window even though they were upgraded (see attached picture). It's completely frozen.

I'm thinking this is a KDE issue, I tried the XFCE version before and did not experience this issue.

Oh crap! I minimized windows and there was a dialog from pamac stating the transaction completed successfully, after accepting that dialog the updates cleared from the update manager and Quit worked.

Sorry about that! Would be nice if that transaction successful dialog were raised above the update manager window or if the transaction dialog were visible in the task manager.

We love it when problems solve themselves. ;)
