Title: [BUG] [FIXED] Manjaro official kernel updates remove initram of custom kernel
Post by: torvic9 on 18. April 2016, 12:18:38
Title says it all.

Problem is in the linux.install file: there is a "rm" command with wildcards which needs to be changed so as to only delete the old Manjaro initram while not touching the custom named one.

Problem is in file linux.install:
Code: [Select]
# remove old initcpio
  rm -f /boot/initramfs-${KERNEL_BASE}*-${ARCH}*.img
  rm -f /boot/initramfs-${BASEVER}-${ARCH}*.img

I suggest removing the wildcard * after $KERNEL_BASE. Also, I think the second 'rm' doesn't serve a purpose, and can be removed as well.
