Packages and configs swtiching DE

Hello,

'm looking for default .config files for different DEs out there for manjaro like I had them just after fresh installation. I want to switch from Xfce to Budgie but don't want to lose my data and configure bare DE from scratch. I wanted to install packages contained in other flavour then remove Xfce. Installing another DE by current causes huge mess.

It is not the best time now to switch to a gtk3 DE unless you are OK with the default Adwaita theme. Other themes are becoming compatible with the new gtk3 version by and by.
Anyway, you could remove the contents of your /etc/skel folder and install manjaro-budgie-settings package. The create a new user and log in with the new user to the Budgie session. You would get the look of Manjaro Budgie edition like on the ISO (if Arc theme isn't broken at the moment, but then switch to Adwaita.)
To "unite" the DE's you can copy the relevant configs (you need to find out which are relevant) to the old user folder. If it works to log in to the Budgie session with the old user you can delete the new one.

Ok nice, I guees the config packages will need mark conflicts because there are errors between them and files exist in filesystem

I don't think there will be much trouble... If you want to unite the users you will need to take a look at .gtkrc-2.0 that you have the same theme there. But the issues should be only about the optics. However, remeber what you are doing or take notes what you were copying.
Of course, you will need to install Budgie desktop packages, too. Otherwise you won't get a Budgie session.
